Gladstone Ports marked 108th anniversary
Gladstone Ports Corporation Ltd marked the 108th anniversary on March 6, 2022.
Gladstone Ports have come a long way ever since it has started in the early 20th century. The Goods were transported to the port by bulls, horses, trucks, and rail wagons. Today each ship loader at RG Tanna Terminal has a capacity of up to 6000 tonnes per hour.
Back in the 1917, the total annual trade through the port was 20,901 tonnes. In 2020 / 2021, the ports had handled over 123,000,000 tonnes of goods.
